January 10, 2025: Erdenheim, PA 19038 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) and the visiting Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), observed Springfield Township's basketball team overwhelm Wissahickon by a score of 50-24.
The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA). The Bucks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Central Bucks West trounced Dock Mennonite (Lansdale, PA), 61-19, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Wissahickon will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 47-43 league loss to Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA).
