New York High School Basketball - Argyle sneaks past Waterford-Halfmoon
January 11, 2025: Waterford, NY 12188 The Argyle Scots (Argyle, NY) basketball edged the host Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians (Waterford, NY), 39-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Scots now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Warrensburg for a Section 2 Adirondack I bout on Tuesday, January 14. Argyle will play a Burgers team coming off a 49-23 league loss to Corinth (Corinth, NY). The Burgers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Waterford-Halfmoon falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Fordians host Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY) to play the Saints in a Section 2 Adirondack III bout on Monday, January 13. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Saratoga Central Catholic lost 74-48 in their recent non-league bout against Tamarac (Troy, NY)
