The Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Sissonville Indians to 49 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott for a Cardinal contest on Tuesday, January 16. Nitro will battle a Skyhawks team coming off a 58-57 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Skyhawks record now stands at 5-6.

The Indians (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Huskies come into the Cardinal contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Hoover was routed by Nitro (Nitro, WV), 61-55, in a league contest.
