Florida High School Basketball - John Marshall overwhelms Lake Region
January 13, 2023: Eagle Lake, FL 33839 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) and the host Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL), saw John Marshall's basketball squad wallop Lake Region by a count of 69-27.
With the victory, John Marshall upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Justices travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Myers Park won 84-28 in their recent league challenge against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Thunder play the McKeel Academy Wildcats (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Lake Region will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 51-25 non-league loss to Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL).
