Nevada High School Basketball - Canyon Springs can't hold off Spring Valley

January 13, 2025: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

The Spring Valley Grizzlies nipped the host Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball squad by a final score of 65-63 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Grizzlies face the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a 5A Southern outing, on Wednesday, January 15. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 6-9 record after their 71-58 non-league loss to Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV).

The Pioneers (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV). The Cougars enter the 4A Lake outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Pinecrest Academy Cadence got by American Heritage Academy (Henderson, NV), 105-27, in a non-league outing.
