In Monday's league test, the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) basketball squad trounced the host Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), by a score of 86-58.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound test, on Wednesday, January 15. River Ridge will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Abes come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 81-63 league win over Capital (Olympia, WA).

The Cougars (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Silas (Tacoma, WA). The Rams come into the 3A Puget Sound test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Silas bounced North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 58-40, in a league test.
