California High School Basketball - Pioneer can't get by Oxford Academy
January 13, 2025: Whittier, CA 90606 Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA), 50-45 in a league match.
With the victory, Oxford Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots host Whitney (Cerritos, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a match on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 9-11. Whitney won 59-46 in their recent league match against Pioneer (Whittier, CA)
The Titans now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney for a match on Wednesday, January 15. Pioneer will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-28 league win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-11.
