The Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) basketball toppled the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 63-44 in Monday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bella Vista for a Capital Valley Conference bout on Wednesday, January 15. Christian Brothers will play a Broncos team coming off a 75-28 league loss to Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 5-13.

With the loss, Ponderosa falls to 18-1 on the campaign. The Bruins host Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA) to play the Raiders in a Capital Valley Conference bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Rio Americano lost 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against Sacramento (Sacramento, CA)
