The Liberty Union Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Northridge Vikings to 58 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Township for a Mid-State - Buckeye game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Heath (Heath, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a Licking County - Cardinal game on Wednesday, January 15. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-9. Heath lost 41-40 in their recent non-league game against Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH)
