Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), 42-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Normandy advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Invaders host Bay (Bay Village, OH) to face the Rockets in a Cleveland West match on Saturday, January 18. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 7-7. Bay won 54-32 in their recent non-league match against Elyria (Elyria, OH)

The Comets now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avon for a Southwestern match on Wednesday, January 15. Steele will face a Eagles squad coming off a 57-26 league win over Midview (Grafton, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
