The Milby Buffs basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Northside Panthers to 26 in the Buffs league victory on Saturday.

The Buffs now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisdom for a 5A Region III District 19 contest on Thursday, January 19. Milby will battle a Generals team coming off a 42-27 league win over Austin (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 8-4.

The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Waltrip prevailed over Milby (Houston, TX), 41-38, in a league contest.
