North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs Gray Stone Day

January 14, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a big 57-19 triumph over the Gray Stone Day Knights.

The Cardinals (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, South Stanly was trounced by North Stanly (New London, NC), 64-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Gray Stone Day will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 85-41 league loss to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC).
