January 14, 2025: Goose Creek, SC 29445 The Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) basketball edged the host Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC), 55-49 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bengals now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Goose Creek for a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 17. Lucy Beckham will play a Gators team coming off a 52-50 league win over Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC). The Gators record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Stratford falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to play the Cobras in a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 17. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Cane Bay won 77-71 in their recent league bout against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
