The Bridges Prep Buccaneers bounced the visiting Edisto Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 41-16 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Buccaneers face the Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) in a AA Region 5 outing, on Friday, January 17. Bridges Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Gators enter the outing with a 12-1 record after their 48-35 league win over Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC).

The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Barnwell (Barnwell, SC). The Warhorses come into the AA Region 5 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Barnwell was trounced by Hampton County (Varnville, SC), 60-22, in a league contest.
