In Tuesday's league test, the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) basketball squad got by the host Tri-Township Tigers (LaCrosse, IN), by a score of 44-38.

Next, the Mustangs & Fillies clash with the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Kouts will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Slicers come into the test with a 0-17 record after their 71-23 league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN).

The Tigers (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees come into the Porter County test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Morgan Township was nipped by Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 51-38, in a league test.
