The Waxahachie Indians were victorious over the visiting Mesquite Skeeters basketball squad by a final score of 61-45 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Indians clash with the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 outing, on Friday, January 17. Waxahachie will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the outing with a 20-5 record after their 40-36 league win over Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).
