The Hopewell Vikings bounced the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 65-34 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Hopewell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their outing against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine come into the WPIAL 3A 1 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Ellwood City was overwhelmed by Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA), 57-31, in a league outing.
