The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) and the visiting Independence (Ashburn, VA), observed Freedom's basketball team knock off Independence by a score of 62-47.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Unity Reed (Manassas, VA). The Lions come into the Cedar Run challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Unity Reed was knocked off by Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA), 82-51, in a non-league challenge.
