In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting The Vanguard School Coursers basketball team scored a close 50-43 win over the DSST: Cedar Falcons.

The Coursers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, James Irwin was tipped by Florence (Florence, CO), 48-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Denver West Cowboys (Denver, CO) in a 4A/3A City contest, on Friday, January 17. DSST: Cedar will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Cowboys come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 59-44 league loss to Manual (Denver, CO).
