January 15, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The Carencro Bears soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Plaquemine Green Devils to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bears now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Livonia for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Carencro will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-6.
With the loss, Plaquemine moves to 0-15 on the year. The Green devils travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Eagles in a Division III District 5 bout on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 19-1. Parkview Baptist won 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Livonia (Livonia, LA)
