The Pleasant Valley Vikings tipped the visiting Lynwood Knights basketball team by a final score of 72-67 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) in a Eastern game, on Tuesday, January 17. Pleasant Valley will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 56-45 league loss to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA).

The Knights (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Paramount (Paramount, CA). The Pirates come into the Gateway battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Paramount edged Warren (Downey, CA), 50-26, in a league battle.
