January 16, 2024: Macksville, KS 67557 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Macksville Mustangs (Macksville, KS) and the visiting Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS), saw Macksville's basketball squad wallop Nickerson by a count of 52-20.
With the victory, Macksville upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Sunrise Christian Academy won 71-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS)
Next up, the Panthers play the Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Nickerson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 43-30 non-league loss to Cheney (Cheney, KS).
