Linn Wildcats (Linn, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO), 50-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Linn advances its record to 1-11 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Fatima (Westphalia, MO) to face the Comets in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Comets enter the match with a record of 7-3. Fatima won 58-55 in their recent non-league match against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO)

The Mustangs now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Monte for a Kaysinger match on Friday, January 17. Northwest will face a Vikings squad coming off a 46-36 non-league loss to Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.
