In Thursday's league contest, the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles basketball team scored a big 71-41 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

The Black Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Riverside will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record.
