January 16, 2025: Casselberry, FL 32707 Geneva Knights (Casselberry, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Crooms Academy Panthers (Sanford, FL), 42-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Geneva upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL) to face the Ducks in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Ducks enter the match with a record of 4-9. Cornerstone Charter Academy lost 61-28 in their recent non-league match against Jones (Orlando, FL)
The Panthers now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Mary Prep for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Crooms Academy will face a Griffins squad coming off a 44-32 non-league loss to Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL). The Griffins record now stands at 6-9.
