The Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) basketball crushed the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), 70-31 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bombers now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to McCutcheon for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Rensselaer Central will play a Mavericks team coming off a 71-39 non-league win over Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Mavericks record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, West Lafayette falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21.
