Louisiana High School Basketball - Wright overwhelms Grace King
January 17, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wright (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Grace King Fighting Irish (Metairie, LA), saw Wright's basketball squad wallop Grace King by a tally of 70-27.
With the victory, Wright improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The travel to Kennedy (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Cougars in a 3A District 9 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Grace King will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
