The Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) basketball nipped the host Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans (Indianapolis, IN), 69-65 in Wednesday's league test.

The Royals (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record.

The Trojans now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-6.
