Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), 68-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Vista del Lago upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA) to play the Cougars in a Capital Athletic League bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Del Campo lost 27-23 in their recent non-league bout against Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Athletic League bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Rio Americano will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 65-22 non-league win over Natomas (Sacramento, CA).
