The Ledford Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 56 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Montgomery Central for a 3A Mid-Piedmont game on Wednesday, January 22. Ledford will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 85-40 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-14.

With the loss, Asheboro falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Blue comets travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21.
