North Carolina High School Basketball - Bessemer City succumbs to Highland Tech

January 17, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Friday's league test, the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), by a score of 68-58.

Next, the Rams clash with the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 22. Highland Tech will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.

The Yellow Jackets (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Shelby went down by Crest (Shelby, NC), 71-70, in a non-league test.
