South Carolina High School Basketball - Chester overwhelmed by Clinton

In Friday's league test, the Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), by a score of 72-50.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 3 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Clinton will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Shamrocks come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 38-36 league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC).

The Cyclones (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Columbia (Columbia, SC). The Capitals go into the AA Region 3 bout with a 3-13 record. In their last bout, Columbia was ripped by Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC), 46-42, in a league bout.
