With the victory, Cory-Rawson advances its record to 1-12 on the year. The Fighting Hornets host Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to face the Tigers in a Northwest Central match on Friday, January 24. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-11. Waynesfield-Goshen lost 44-41 in their recent non-league match against Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH)
The Comets now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vanlue for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Elgin will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-29 league loss to Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.
