The Heritage Preparatory Rams basketball squad (Atlanta, GA), was crushed 64-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA)

With the victory, Heritage advances its record to 13-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 1-13. Carrollton lost 51-46 in their recent league battle against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA)

The Rams now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Springs Christian Academy for a GIAA AA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Heritage Preparatory will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 67-48 league win over St. Mary's Academy (Fairburn, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
