North Carolina High School Basketball - Bradford Prep knocked off by Mountain Island Charter

In Friday's league test, the Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 41-25.

Next, the Raptors encounter the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test, on Tuesday, January 21. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 50-26 league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC).

The Bears (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Corvian Community was knocked off by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 33-29, in a league test.
