The Sierra Vista Mountain Lions basketball squad (Las Vegas, NV), lost 66-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV)

With the victory, Desert Oasis advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Diamondbacks travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Blue Knights in a 5A Southern battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Blue Knights enter the battle with a record of 13-2. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus won 64-27 in their recent non-league battle against Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Mountain Lions now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Basic for a non-league battle on Monday, January 20. Sierra Vista will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 48-43 league win over Foothill (Henderson, NV). The Wolves record now stands at 10-6.
