California High School Basketball - Liberty fells Riverdale
January 17, 2025: Madera, CA 93636 The Liberty Hawks basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Riverdale Cowboys to 23 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Caruthers for a Northwest Sequoia game on Tuesday, January 21. Liberty will confront a Blue Raiders team coming off a 70-53 non-league win over Lincoln (Stockton, CA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Riverdale falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to confront the Tribe in a Northwest Sequoia game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tribe go into the game with a record of 9-8. Chowchilla lost 49-33 in their recent league game against Parlier (Parlier, CA)
