In Friday's non-league game, the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) flag football team triumphed over the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV), by a tally of 49-6.

In their next game, the Diamondbacks face the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a 5A Southern game, on Wednesday, January 22. Desert Oasis will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record.

The Pirates (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV). The Firehawks enter the 3A Southern game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Eldorado overwhelmed Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV), 18-13, in a league game.
