The Central Hawks basketball squad (Talbotton, GA), was outscored 71-59 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA)

With the victory, Macon County advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA) to meet the Panthers in a A D2 Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Chattahoochee County won 64-55 in their recent league battle against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)

The Hawks now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Furlow Charter School for a A D2 Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Central will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 86-19 league loss to Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-15.
