The Franklin County Wildcats basketball squad (Brookville, IN), was nudged 33-31 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN)

With the victory, East Central advances its record to 2-8 on the year. The Trojans host South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to meet the Knights in a Eastern Indiana battle on Wednesday, January 22. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 7-5. South Dearborn won 49-47 in their recent league battle against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)

The Wildcats now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jac-Cen-Del for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Franklin County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
