In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Southern Raiders basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the Tri County Trojans.

The Raiders (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Diller-Odell topped Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 39-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Tri County will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 65-56 non-league win over Conestoga (Murray, NE).
