California High School Basketball - Brea Olinda sneaks past Mira Costa
January 18, 2025: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 The Brea Olinda Wildcats (Brea, CA) basketball edged the host Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), 58-55 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Foothill for a North Hills bout on Tuesday, January 21. Brea Olinda will play a Knights team coming off a 41-24 league loss to Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Knights record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Mira Costa falls to 14-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West (Torrance, CA) to play the Warriors in a Bay bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 16-8. West won 62-35 in their recent non-league bout against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA)
