The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds to 40 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now possess a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Westinghouse for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Oak Park-River Forest will confront a Warriors team coming off a 67-27 non-league loss to Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Thornwood falls to 2-21 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL) to confront the Kays in a Southland game on Thursday, January 23.
