The Riggs Governors basketball team (Pierre, SD), was nudged 53-52 in Thursday's league battle with the host Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD)

The Lynx now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen Central for a AA battle on Saturday, January 21. Brandon Valley will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 68-48 non-league loss to Tea (Tea, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-6.

The Governors (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Patriots come into the AA outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Douglas was tipped by Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 56-38, in a league outing.
