The Green Valley Gators basketball team (Henderson, NV), was overwhelmed 54-19 in Thursday's league battle with the host Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Longhorns now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Gorman for a 5A Southern battle on Monday, January 23. Legacy will confront a Gaels team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Coronado (Henderson, NV). The Gaels record now stands at 10-10.

The Gators (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies come into the 5A Southern battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Spring Valley trounced Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV), 58-33, in a league battle.
