Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) and the host Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD), saw Catoctin's basketball squad wallop Walkersville by a tally of 49-27.

With the victory, Catoctin improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD) to confront the Warriors in a Central Maryland challenge on Friday, January 5. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Boonsboro lost 36-23 in their recent league challenge against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD)
