In Thursday's non-league test, the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) basketball squad defeated the visiting Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ), by a score of 48-35.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 40-29 non-league win over Florence (Florence, AZ).
