In Thursday's non-league test, the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad trounced the host Grand Canyon Phantoms (Grand Canyon, AZ), by a final score of 59-26.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 15-1 record after their 60-45 non-league win over Douglas (Douglas, AZ).

The Phantoms (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Rio Rico was overwhelmed by Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ), 70-54, in a non-league test.
