Arizona High School Basketball - Sabino holds off Palo Verde

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Sabino Sabercats basketball team scored a close 66-62 triumph over the Palo Verde Titans.

The Sabercats (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks go into the 3A South contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Tanque Verde nipped Catalina (Tucson, AZ), 70-20, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Titans confront the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Palo Verde will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 8-12 record after their 88-48 league loss to Cholla (Tucson, AZ).
