In Monday's non-league contest, the host Downers Grove North Trojans basketball team scored a close 39-37 triumph over the Lincoln-Way Central Knights.

The Trojans (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the West Suburban - Silver contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale Central nipped Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 61-26, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban contest, on Tuesday, January 21.
